Speed Limit Information (SLI) Activation

Introducing the revolutionary new service for BMW group cars - live recognition of speed limits on your cluster and heads up display!

With this service, you will never have to worry about missing a speed limit sign again. This cutting-edge technology uses advanced image recognition algorithms to identify speed limit signs in real-time and instantly display the information on your car's cluster and/or heads up display.

This means you'll always know exactly what the speed limit is, even in areas with poor visibility or confusing signage. 

Vehicle Compatibility

This service is designed for F & G series cars with the KAFAS camera fitted to their windscreen from factory. The easiest way to check is the look at the front windscreen and look to see if 'ConnectedDrive' is displayed in the top centre (Pictured). 

Install Prerequisites

Mobile install appointments are available around the Scottish Central Belt only and we will be in touch to schedule shortly after purchase. Remote appointments need to meet the following to ensure a smooth and successful appointment:

• A Windows laptop running at least Windows 8.
• A BMW OBD2 ENET Cable is required to establish a connection between your vehicle and the laptop during the installation. These are inexpensive and can be purchased HERE.
• A stable wireless internet connection to enable smooth communication between your laptop and our servers.
